14. ROGOZNIČKI KUP - Offshore race, IOM Class

Rogoznica, January 17^th 2020.

1. Organising Authority:

14. Rogoznički kup - Offshore race is organised by the Sailing Club «Val», under the authority of Radio Sailing Division of Croatian Sailing Federation and Croatian Sailing Federation.

2. Rules:

The regatta will be governed by the Notice of Race (NoR) and the Sailing Instructions (SI). Navigation regatta will be scored for «Rogoznički kup – Offshore race».

3. Advertising:

WS Advertising Code apply. Competitors & boats may advertise without restriction.

4. Eligibility:

Regatta is open to RC boats in two categories:
1. IOM – all boats with a valid IOM measurement certificate;
2. OPEN – monohull RC boats with hull length 0,99 – 1m, without limitation on sailis, rigging and appendages.
The smallest number of boats in each category is 2. If there is only one boat in category the organizer will not allow her sailing in official competition.

5. Entries:

6. Registration:

Boats shall be presented for registration before 09:00 AM on January 17^th 2020. However, the Race Committee may extend the time for registration and event measurement if there is a valid reason to do so.

7. Schedule:

Friday, 17.01.2020.

       09:00 – Registration and checking measurement certificates
       09:25 – Skippers meeting
       09:30 – Start of the offshore race
       12:15 – Time limit for offshore race

8. Measurement:

It is intended that all boats will pass event measurement of hull lenght on Friday, January 17^th 2020.

9. Venue:

Rogoznica, Rogoznica's bay.

10. Scoring:

Scoring will be carried out in accordance with Appendix 1 of NoR.

11. Appeals:

The right of appeal is denied in accordance with RRS 70.4(a).

12. Frequencies:

Permitted frequencies are: 27, 35, 40, 41, 72 MHZ and 2.4 GHz. Each competitor is required to have a minimum of two frequencies available.

13. Prizes:

Transitional prize will be awarded to the best competitor in coastal fleet race in IOM category and the best in OPEN category will receive special prize.

14. Media rights:

Competitors, owners of the boats and their guests are giving all rights for using pictures and videos of persons and boats during the regatta in medias, incuding comercials, press materials and all other promoting activities and press releasses.

15. Liability:

All those entering or taking part in this regatta do so at their own risk and responsibility.
Sailing Club “Val” and any other parties involved in the organisation of this event disclaim: any and every responsibility whatsoever for loss, damage, injury or inconvenience that might occur to persons and goods, both ashore and on the water as a consequence of entering or participating in the regatta covered by this Notice of Race. At all times the responsibility for the safety of their boat and themselves including the decision to participate or continue shall rest with the competitors. By entering the event it is deemed that you accept these conditions.
Competitors are advised to ensure that they have adequate personal insurance that provides cover for public liability and their possible injury in the country of this regatta.
